We met Edgardo in 2013 when he worked for another well known and respected real estate company and we loved this town so much we decided to begin the process of looking for a property to purchase. We found Edgardo to be exceptional in his understanding of the city, the qualities of the properties available, knowing who the good developers were and also very conscientious regarding important details we needed to understand about the differences in purchasing real estate in Mexico versus the US. It took us 3 years to find the right property because we only came to PV once a year but we made very good use of our time each visit and eventually found our perfect property to purchase! Edgardo was recommended to us by another couple who had worked with him to sell a condo and purchase a new condo in Puerto Vallarta. We met with him and appreciated his attention to the goals we discussed for our first condo purchase. Edgardo raised some questions that we had not considered and made sure we understood all of the implications of owning property in Mexico as foreigners. Edgardo works to stay current with the Puerto Vallarta market. He knows the neighborhoods, developers, and buildings, and has close relationships with many other realtors. The depth of information he provided gave us a good feeling that we were making a reasonable and competitive offer on our condo. After the contingent offer was accepted, Edgardo worked with us to secure quality inspection services, prepared photo documentation of furnishings to be included, and assisted us with the final negotiations. Edgardo made good suggestions about dealing with some of the contingencies in ways that were fair to us and the sellers. After the final offer was accepted, Edgardo communicated early and often to remind us of upcoming deadlines and documents that needed to be provided. Our closing date occurred on the earliest date of the range initially provided in part because he kept us so organized in our responses. On the morning of the closing, Edgardo assisted us with a final walk through inspection. Unfortunately, there were a couple of items missing from the condo. Edgardo stood firm with the sellers’ realtors during closing requiring the sellers to honor the contract for sale. We appreciated his knowledge, professionalism, optimism, and congeniality. In addition, he wears great shoes!

Between my husband and I we have bought quite a few properties in our lifetime and every experience is unique, but working with Edgardo over this last year has been by far, the most pleasant experience we have ever had. Edgardo is not only professional but he is a real caring person. He listened to our wants and needs carefully. He never attempted to SELL us instead he patiently pointed out the positives without trying to downplay the negatives of each property. The most astounding aspect of his performance was that he never gave up on us!! We must have viewed at least 20 properties over the span of a year and he still put on his smile and made us a priority. When we first met Teresa, she was our Airbnb host and she went above and beyond in that capacity. When we mentioned being interested in purchasing in PV, she graciously offered to show us some homes in the area. This began our journey of searching for homes, finding one we loved, and now being happy owners in Mexico and Teresa was there every step along the way. Visiting homes was so much fun with Teresa. She did her research and had printed information for each property. She seemed to enjoy the search as much as we did. Knowing the intricacies of each neighborhood was super helpful. We loved sitting at a cafe after each outing while we processed the homes. She worked so hard at matching the moving target of what we wanted to the available houses. She even went with us as we walked the path from the house to the beach so we would know what we were getting into! We loved our time with Teresa. She helped us with obtaining wifi, securing electricity, and even sharing contacts of workers. She was not just concerned with selling us a home, but helping us get settled.
